Home Energy Upgrades for DCB Affected Homeowners
Great news for DCB affected homeowners! You’re now eligible for SEAI home energy upgrade grants alongside your DCB remediation works. This means you can improve your home’s energy efficiency while undergoing repairs, saving you money on energy bills in the long run.
Here's how to get started:
Haven’t Started or Completed DCB Works?
- One-Stop Shop Service: Contact a registered One-Stop Shop provider. They’ll manage the entire grant process for you, making it hassle-free.
- Pre-BER Required: Before any work begins, you’ll need a pre-works Building Energy Rating (BER) assessment. One-Stop Shops or competent building professionals can help you arrange this.
- Aiming for B2 or Better: Upon completion, your home should achieve a BER rating of B2 or higher.
Want Individual Upgrades?
- SEAI Registered Contractors: Choose a SEAI registered contractor for specific energy upgrades (e.g., insulation, heating systems). They’ll handle the grant application process.
